Cookie policy

Last updated 8 November 2026

ULB Media (Pty) Ltd uses a small number of first-party cookies to run onsanctions.com. Every one is strictly necessary for a service you ask for, so we don't ask for consent, but we do tell you what each one does. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use cookies to build profiles.

1. Cookies we set

NameWhat it doesLastsType
__Host-os_sessionKeeps you signed in. Holds a signed session token, not your password.12 hoursStrictly necessary
os_currencyRemembers the currency you chose for prices and billing.1 yearStrictly necessary (your choice)
os_revealShows a new API key, webhook secret or invite link once, on the account page only.10 minutesStrictly necessary
os_checkpassKeeps the quick checks you paid for available in this browser, on the quick check page only.1 yearStrictly necessary

2. Cookies set by our providers

Stripe sets its own cookies inside the payment form when you buy quick checks or subscribe, to process the payment and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy at stripe.com/cookies-policy.

Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may set security cookies such as __cf_bm to tell people from bots. Cloudflare also asks browsers to report network errors (Network Error Logging) so it can keep the site reachable; these reports don't identify you to us.

3. Local storage

When you dismiss the cookie notice, your browser's local storage remembers that, so the notice doesn't come back. It is never sent to us.

4. How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you won't be able to sign in, keep paid quick checks between visits, or keep your currency choice. The rest of the site works without them.

5. More information

How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy. Questions: privacy@onsanctions.com.
